Jay is a new but specialized resident at Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust.
Jay came to us in August this year and will be with us until we can find a home that is suitable for her specialized care. Jay was found abandoned and alone, but that hasn't put a damper on her sweet and loving nature.
Jay is vision impaired and requires special attention from the team, she spends her time split between a sensory depravation aviary, that was set up to keep Jay and other blind birds like her safe and comfortable, and the pond to ensure she's getting enough outdoor activity and maintaining her quality of life.
If you'd like to support Jay then please sponsor her ongoing care.
